KIDS' COMMITTEE sponsored by ceo foundation The Corporate Leadership Program is for corporate and business groups who wish to compliment their contribution to the community through volunteer service. Your group or organization can enjoy a fun-filled day at the Discovery Center and earn volunteer hours! ![]() All group members must be at least 14 years old. The Group Leadership Program is for community groups (i.e., youth clubs, scout troops, etc.) who want to volunteer for short-term projects, half a day or one full day. Activities include volunteering for Special Events and Outreach. ![]() ADULT LEADERSHIP PROGRAMĪdult Leaders are asked to complete a minimum of 30 hours of volunteer service to the Discovery Center per year. ![]() The application for Summer 2024 will be posted in early 2024. The Summer 2023 application is now closed. Throughout the school year, our young adults are able to volunteer on Saturdays, as well as during schools holidays and breaks assisting with countless activities and interacting with thousands of visitors. The Discovery Squad, the Discovery Center's youth leadership program, looks for talented, out-going, and committed young adults, ages 14-17, to volunteer throughout the Discovery Center exhibits, providing crucial volunteer support to the Discovery Center's many activities and programs! Interact with visitors, assist staff in the action-packed exhibits or help our hard-working administrative staff during your volunteer experience. The Fort Bend Children's Discovery Center offers many community leadership opportunities for youth, adults and groups to help us fullfill our mission.
